Industrial Mattress

EP&F is proud to introduce the best camping mattress available. We find it strange that so many people have such a hard time geting a good night's sleep while on the road or at a rally. Few will argue that nothing contributes more to a good day riding, or a great multi-day adventure, than a good night's sleep; and nobody wants to start a ride bleary and grumpy from spending the night arguing with the cold hard ground... much better to be fresh and alert.

We will cut corners, and try to save weight elsewhere, but if we are planning on camping out, we won't be leaving our "Paco Pad" behind. These mattresses are super tough, super comfortable, and proudly made in the USA. They consist of a 2" thick high density open cell foam encased in RF welded 18oz PVC fabric. They have grommets on the ends for the dual roll up straps, and an air valve at one corner.

The air valve allows the air inside to escape when rolling it up, and lets fresh air in as the foam expands and it "self inflates" when you roll it out. They measure 28 inches wide by a full six feet long, and weigh about 9lbs.

They offer a great deal of versatility as well. They provide a good place to spread out tools, or maps, and can make a good impromptu surface to spread out a picnic lunch. If we have tent poles, they get rolled up inside. They are well suited to do hide-a-bed duty when guests stop by, and are more comfortable than the couch if you find yourself in the "dog house". We know of college students who have slept on nothing else during their pursuit of "higher education".
