This switch comes with a diagram of the nine pin connector which explains wire positions and colors. Pin one is top center under connecting clip, as viewed from the direction of the wires coming out. Pin numbers progress in a clockwise fashion:
8-1-2
7-9-3
6-5-4

Pin One - Yellow - hot from switch to high beam*
Pin Two - Black - to go to an engine or frame ground. Grounds the switch body
Pin Three - Brown - hot to left turn signals
Pin Four - Green - hot from switch to low beam*
Pin Five - Brown White - Powers turn signals, usually from flasher to switch
Pin Six - Red Yellow - Powers lights, fused hot from battery to switch
Pin Seven - Blue - Parking light - hot to tail and instrument lights
Pin Eight - Pink - To Horn Relay (Do not connect to positive, grounds circuit when pushed)
Pin Nine - Dark Green - hot to right turn signals
Extra wire - Blue White - to extra momentary switch (kill switch) (headlight flasher relay, etc.) (Do not connect to positive, grounds circuit when pushed)
