The Venox 250 is the best looking 250 on the
planet. But since looks aren't everything KYMCO built this bike
to be ridden. It features a high revving liquid cooled, dual overhead cam,
4 valves per cylinder, 249 cc engine, that visually looks much larger. It
comes with a front disc brake with a braided steel line, 2 into 2 exhaust,
adjustable rear shocks, a 17 " front wheel and a 15" solid disc rear wheel.
Power is delivered to the ground via a 5 speed transmission and chain drive.
The 419 lb weight may seem a little high but, once moving the weight provides
for a very stable, confidence inspiring ride at all speeds. It
is available in two colors; Metallic Black and Dark Red.
There is a striking resemblance between the Venox and the Honda Magna 250 (see pictures below). Although we have been unable to find a definitive answer on the subject, since Kymco and Honda had a long history together, there is little doubt that the little Kymco shares many concepts and probably many parts with the Honda. Either way, what Kymco has produced is a visually appealing motorcycle with a very high level of quality and longevity.
