The KYMCO Cobra Cross is our personal favorite. Imagine taking a racy scooter like the Cobra, and
then giving it even  more attitude! From the fat high profile all terrain tires, to the brush guards, and sturdy
tubular tail rack, the Cobra Cross lets everyone know it's ready for anything. This is the SUV of small
displacement scooters, with gas mileage like no SUV could ever dream of.

Like all KYMCO scooters, the Cobra Cross is a high quality, easy to ride, reliable machine. It has a
front disk brake, telescopic front fork, and rear mono-shock. There is both kick and electric starting, and
a fully automatic CVT transmission to easily get it going. There is plenty of storage space under the two
person seat, and the tail rack is complete with handy places to hook bungie cords.

The Cobra Cross has a number of nice touches in common with it's more "citified" cousins; like full
instrumentation (including a speedometer, tachometer, odometer, fuel gauge, warning and indicator lights),
center stand and side stand, steering lock, aluminum floor board, folding aluminum passenger footrests,
and a glove box.

The zip in the Cobra Cross comes from a proven air cooled 50cc two stroke engine with electronic CDI
ignition and oil injection. This engine produces over 5 horsepower and 4 ft/lbs of torque to power the
scooter to an "unrestricted" top speed of approx. 45 miles per hour. Since it is a KYMCO, there is a full
array of high performance parts available. Companies like Malossi from Italy produce big bore kits,
expansion chamber pipes, racing carbs, clutches, and variometers to help turn this "scooter with an
attitude" into a real hooligan.

Unfortunately the Cobra Cross
  has been discontinued in the U.S.
