The TomTom "Rider" personal navigation GPS, specifically designed for motorcycles and scooters is now available. This is the exact same unit available as an accessory for the NORGE from Moto Guzzi, but a lot less expensive. This self contained unit is a great tool for long trips or just getting around town. The unit includes adapters that allows it to be mounted to nearly any scooter or motorcyle. The capabilities of this machine are extensive. We will try to highlight a few of the coolest features on this page.

The "Rider" unit was designed with Us in mind. Interface is accomplished entirely via the touch screen and is easy to navigate, even with gloves on. The unit has a large color moving map, bluetooth technology and is water resistant. It comes with complete U.S. and Canadian maps and other maps are available online. Simply tell the TomTom your address, punch in a destination, and go.

Bluetooth technology means you can use the headset (included) and get verbal updates and directions, inside your helmet, wirelessly! If your phone is bluetooth capable you can even receive current traffic and weather conditions. The features are nearly endless, and although we're not that big on electronic gadgetry, after spending just a few minutes with the Rider unit we completely understand its appeal.
